That's me.

A picture and some information about me...

I was born in Basle (Switzerland) on the 17 March 1975 and grew up in Bettingen, in the canton of Basle-City. From 1985 to 1994, I went to the Bäumlihof Grammar School in Basle. Now, I study Slavonic studies, English studies and computer science at the University of Basle. I also attend some courses at the University of Zurich. I am particularly interested in computational linguistics. Apart from my studies, I work in the area of information technology.

My native language is German or Swiss-German dialects. I went to Russia, Poland and England several times to improve my knowledge of the languages spoken in these countries. At school, I have also learnt French, and now I attend courses of Croatian and Serbian.

I like listening to music (e.g. Led Zeppelin, Faith No More), and I play the bass guitar.

Politically, I belong to the left, and I am not a follower of a religious faith.
